Swansea City trio Gylfi Sigurdsson, Neil Taylor and Ki Sung-Yueng are all likely to be sidelined for the club’s Premier League opener at Turf Moor, says Wales Online.

The Swans face Burnley on Saturday as the 2016/17 season commences, but they’ll be without three star players.

Sigurdsson, normally one of the first names on the Swansea team-sheet, will start on the bench after an impressive Euro 2016 tournament with Iceland.

Neil Taylor, who played in every one of Wales’ Euro games this past summer, is not ready for Premier League action yet, and is likely to miss out completely.

And Ki Sung-Yueng will also be left out by Guidolin, having only recently come back from compulsory South Korea military service.

Poland goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski will start in goal, though, despite also playing in France in the summer.

It’s probable that Leroy Fer will fill in for Sigurdsson, Stephen Kingsley for Taylor and Leon Britton for Ki for Saturday’s outing to Burnley.
