Swansea starlets extend League Two loans
Swansea City duo Liam Shephard and Ryan Hedges have both extended their loans at League Two side Yeovil Town until the end of the season.
The young starlets have impressed at Huish Park since joining the Glovers earlier this summer, and have now committed their services to the club until May 2017.
Shephard, a 21-year-old right-back, featured in one game for the Swans last campaign – in their shock 3-2 FA Cup loss to Oxford United.
Winger Hedges has yet to be involved in the Swansea first-team, but is highly rated amongst the youth coaches in South Wales, as well as the Wales under-21 coaches.
Both got their first taste of Premier League opposition on Tuesday night, facing Everton at Goodison Park in the EFL Cup second round.
Against Ashley Williams’ new side, Shephard and Hedges couldn’t conjure up a giant killing as Yeovil lost the game 4-0.
Good luck for the 2016/16 in League Two, both!
