Swansea City have announced that they have sacked Francesco Guidolin and replaced him with Bob Bradley.

It was widely reported last week that Swansea officials had met with Bradley about the possibility of him taking over at the Liberty Stadium and it appears that those stories were true.
The 58-year-old, who was the manager at Le Havre, will take over from Guidolin with the Swans in 17th place and only above the relegation zone on goal difference.
International breaks tend to be a perfect time for clubs to make a managerial change and Swansea have decided that now is the time to make a switch and bring in the former USA and Egypt coach.
The style of play that Guidolin introduced, combined with a run of poor results, did have a lot of fans questioning his capabilities as a manager and it seems like the board have agreed with them.
There had been some suggestions that Ryan Giggs would be Swansea’s next manager, but this appointment obviously puts those rumours to bed.
