Swansea terminate Tabanou’s contract
Swansea City have terminated the contract of left-back Franck Tabanou, according to French media outlet, RMC.
The French full-back has been a huge disappointment since his £3.5 million move from Ligue 1 side St. Etienne in the summer of 2015.
Tabanou has only featured in three games for the Swans and hasn’t won any admirers during his time at the Liberty Stadium, especially after his outbursts in the French media, dissing the club and management.
He spent time on loan back at St. Etienne in 2016, before making the switch to La Liga side Granada on loan for the past 2016/17 season. He still only remained a bit-part player for Granada as they slumped to relegation into the Segunda Division.
Now it appears as if his time at Swansea is definitely over, whether his contract termination is true, or if he’ll be sold as soon as the transfer window opens for a miniscule fee.
