Swans to secure loan move for Tammy Abraham
Swansea City will complete the loan signing of Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham very soon, according to reports.
Abraham spent last season on loan at Bristol City and became a huge star in the Championship, netting 23 goals for the Robins who were in a relegation battle for the large part of the campaign, which is some feat.
He also bagged a further three goals in four appearances in the EFL Cup for the Ashton Gate outfit.
At 19-years-old, Chelsea weren’t willing to sell such a prospect permanently, however were keen to offload him on loan again ahead of the 2017/18 season.
Scoring 23 goals in the Championship, Chelsea believe he’s ready for the step-up to the Premier League with the Swans, Newcastle and Brighton fighting it out for the forward’s signature.
It now looks as if Paul Clement has won the race for the 6 ft 4 in striker, with Borja Baston’s future at the Liberty Stadium looking bleak.
