Swansea City striker Borja Baston is edging nearer to the exit at the Liberty Stadium with Malaga keen on taking him on loan, according to reports.
The Swans’ record signing Borja joined the club last summer in a £15 million move, however endured a very disappointing maiden season in the Premier League.
He struggled with injuries and failed to establish himself when actually given the chance and netted just one goal, away in a 3-2 defeat at Arsenal.
Now, Malaga are hoping to lure the Spaniard back to La Liga, a league in which he scored 18 goals in in 2015/16.
It’s said that La Rosaleda want to acquire Borja on loan for the next campaign, as they aim to replace their previous striker Sandro Ramirez who is set to join Everton after a successful time at Malaga.
Meanwhile, in the Swans’ striker department, Bafetimbi Gomis has finalised his move to Turkish club Galatasaray, ending a three year stint as a Swansea City player. Good luck, Bafe.
