Swansea City midfielder, Jack Cork, claims that the confidence is high in the Swans camp after Wednesday’s excellent win at the Emirates Stadium.

Swansea face relegation rivals, Norwich City, on Saturday at the Liberty Stadium in what is a real six-pointer.

Speaking to the South Wales Evening Post, Cork says that the Arsenal victory has boosted the confidence and that the clash with the Canaries is a massive fixture.

The Arsenal win is a confidence-booster for the Norwich game.

We knew anything we could get at Arsenal would be a bonus as we knew the importance of getting points in the next three games.

Getting the victory takes a bit of pressure off and, if we can back it up against Norwich, then we could be nine points clear (of the drop zone), which would be massive.

Cork has been exceptional for the Swans recently, with two assists in the last two games to his name – albeit if his assist for Paloschi’s goal against Tottenham was extremely fortunate.

The former-Southampton ace has become a key figure in the Swansea midfield, and finds himself as one of the first names on the team-sheet.

If Cork can continue to perform, as well as the other players in the squad, then Swansea have a good enough chance of staying up.
