Hull boss Leonid Slutsky left Clucas out of his squad for their defeat to QPR over the weekend, claiming that he is ‘preparing to play for another club‘.

His goals for Hull last season meant that he had scored for a fifth successive season, in five different leagues in ascending order from the Conference to the Premier League.
Clucas has also been a target for Burnley this Summer, who had a £10m offer turned down for the midfielder. He has also been linked with Newcastle.
